HIPG Hosts Successful Medical Camp in Collaboration with VIDA Medical Clinic

The Hambantota International Port Group (HIPG) took a significant step towards enhancing the health and well-being of its workforce by organizing a comprehensive medical camp from the 25th to the 27th of September 2024. This three-day initiative, held at the Hambantota Port, was led by the renowned VIDA Medical Clinic in collaboration with the Hambantota Logistics Group. It provided essential healthcare services to the port’s 403 workers, a testament to HIPG’s ongoing commitment to employee welfare.

The medical camp offered a range of vital health tests, ensuring that each worker had the opportunity to assess and improve their overall health. Throughout the event, the port workers expressed their gratitude for the high-quality care they received from the VIDA Medical Clinic team. Many acknowledged the initiative as a valuable contribution to their welfare, recognizing the long-term benefits of regular health monitoring and early detection of issues.

This initiative underscores HIPG’s dedication not only to port operations but also to the holistic well-being of its employees.
